We were walking around Downtown Kirkwood and realized we were starving. We didn't want to walk far and realized we were by Mike Duffy's. Our extended family raves about this place, but neither my Mom nor I had tried it. We decided to step in for lunch. The atmosphere was, typical sports bar, but definitely not dim and grungy. There was a large dining room and a spacious patio (unfortunately located facing a parking lot, but still, a nice patio). Our server, Josh, was phenomenal. Attentive and very funny. The food was surprisingly good. I got a regular Cheeseburger, which came with onions, lettuce, and tomato. My Mom went for the Bison Burger, and we both got fries on the side. The burgers were delicious. Juicy, flavorful, pretty big in size as well. The fries were crispy and went really with the Southwest Ranch. Yum! Between the patio, service and above-average burgers, we were fully satisfied with our meal and would gladly return to Mike Duffy's.

All the food here is top notch! Being going here for over 25 years and it's just as good now as it was then. From their pizza to appetizers, dinners to burgers, all are spectacular. But their pizza is excellent and their burgers are some of the best in St. Louis!! Great for lunch and or dinner. They also have a great private dining room for private events for up to about 100 people. Parking can be tight in the evenings and most especially on weekends, but what makes it not bad is it's nestled in the middle of downtown Kirkwood, so walking the area is nice and quaint.

Pretty good. The waitress was amazing. I got the chicken wins as an appetizer, and the patty melt and chili as my entree. The chicken wings were not great, although I am a little biased as I don't like chicken wings myself. The patty melt and chili were great, though. There was also some live music that could use an upgrade.

I recently hosted a grad party for 40 people. Mike Duffy's was fantastic to work with! All staff were responsive and accommodating. The space was set up perfectly when we arrived and the food and service were excellent. I actually got to enjoy the party because Duffys took care of everything. I HIGHLY recommend booking your next event here!

Food consistently good and service is great. One of our favorite spots, with one big exception. The manager does not treat his customers or employees well at times. I have seen it on multiple occasions. We go all the time and will continue to in spite of this. Still giving 5 stars as I like this locally owned spot and want to be supportive.

Great spot! Nice atmosphere with live music and a really good patio. Plenty of parking too. Service was a little slow but not bad. Food was good, lots of bar food like burgers and sandwiches. The place is big, clean, and friendly. Happy hour deals are solid. I’ll definitely go back.
